THE HONEY OAK EDIT / 001

A dim kitchen.
A calmer palette.

Keep the warm wood. Bring in a light field, softer textiles, and a little dark definition. No cabinet painting required.

FAIR QUESTIONS

A little color.
No big claims.

Good starting points, not magic.
Here's what to expect.

Will these colors look the same on my screen?+

Not exactly. Your screen, the light in your room, texture, and finish all change how a color looks. These hex codes are a direction, not a paint formula. Take them to a paint counter for physical chip matches and test samples at home.

What if my sofa or rug is patterned?+

Choose the color that covers the most of it, not the tiniest accent. Keep your new large textiles mostly solid, and use a small accent from the palette. A hex cannot describe a whole pattern.

Does this work if I cannot paint?+

Yes. The light field can come from curtains, bedding, or a large rug instead of paint. Keep the walls you have and bring the other colors in through removable textiles and art. Get permission before making changes to your rental.

How do you make money?+

The palette builder, live product research, and printable sheets are free. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, with a disclosure below each shopping list. Nothing here is locked behind a payment.

What happens when an item is sold out?+

Each link opens a specific Amazon search, so you can check the color, size, and current availability or find an alternative. Product research is cached for 48 hours. Retry a failed refresh to check again. Anything we cannot confirm is labeled an unverified search suggestion.

Will all six pieces fit my budget?+

The budget band steers the search toward lower-cost options; it is not a live cart total or a promise. Check current prices, shipping, quantities, and inserts on Amazon before buying. Start with the pieces that make the biggest difference and reuse what you can.

Is AI picking my colors?+

No. Four color relationships are generated and scored in local code using perceptual lightness, a chroma budget, and a contrast check. Live web research finds product candidates; AI also selects a practical checklist reminder. Neither chooses or invents the palette hexes.

You don't need a blank slate.
Just colors that go.
